NPI kicks off first franchisee workshop of the year in Atlanta, Georgia.

NPI Atlanta WorkshopNational Property Inspections, Inc., parent company of National Property Inspections in the United States and Global Property Inspections in Canada, held its first franchisee workshop of 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia earlier this month. On March 3rd and 4th, Kimberly Stevens, Marketing Coach for NPI, Inc., and Bob McDonough, NPI franchisee, Atlanta, Georgia, held a two day, intensive marketing and business management workshop for 28 NPI franchisees and spouses. Bob, top franchisee of 2016, shared his knowledge with the group, teaching his favorite tricks of the trade and tactics to his achievements. Kimberly challenged our business owners to get comfortable with public speaking and leadership by incorporating a number of one-on-one and team exercises. “This business takes strong networking skills to be successful. At NPI we challenge our franchisees to step outside their comfort zones to grow not only as business owners, but as confident individuals.” Says Kimberly Stevens. “I make it my mission every day to be here to guide them along their path to greatness.”

“Thank you Bob and Kimberly for putting this workshop on for us.” Said Mark Naquin, NPI franchise owner, Houma, Louisiana. “The material and information you provided was extremely helpful for me. No doubt, the way it was presented was key and helped me with more direction and how to stay on track to become successful in this business. I hope this is something that continues, because the interaction was great and getting to meet other NPI folks who are open to talk and share their stories, recommendations, etc. was an added bonus. I got to experience the family feeling within NPI for sure.”

“We are thrilled so many franchisees participated in our workshop in Atlanta,” said Roland Bates, president of National Property Inspections, Inc. “We believe in growing together, and our family culture is our biggest asset. When our franchisees come together to learn from one another it builds a lasting bond and a stronger company for everyone. We couldn’t ask for a better group to represent NPI.”

In addition to our regional workshops, we are excited to begin creating our agenda for our annual conference in November, where our franchisees will spend a weekend learning, growing, marketing, and bonding with one another in Omaha, NE.

20161002_140823bNational Property Inspections, Inc., parent company of National Property Inspections in the United States and Global Property Inspections in Canada, is pleased to announce they will now be introducing drone operation training into their Training Academy schedule. Randy Yates, Training Coordinator and inspection expert for NPI, has earned his pilot’s license and will now be leading a training course on how franchisees can introduce drone use during an inspection. National Property Inspections, Inc., Makes FranchiseGrade.com® Top 500

FG-TOP-500-ICONNational Property Inspections, Inc., parent company of National Property Inspections in the United States and Global Property Inspections in Canada, is pleased to announce that its franchise system has been named one of the Top 500 franchises in the United States. The Franchise Grade® Top 500 is compiled from an analysis and benchmark of 2,387 franchise systems. This database represents the largest number of franchise systems used to determine a top franchise ranking, which makes this a significant accomplishment. It uses FranchiseGrade.com’s proprietary Franchise Performance Index, a data tool used to determine the relative grade of each franchise system. Its inclusion in the Franchise Grade Top 500 defines National Property Inspections as a healthy investment opportunity for prospective franchisees.

The FranchiseGrade.com Top 500 list is unique because its methodology is comprehensive and objectively applied, whereas most top franchise lists use a simplistic and limited methodology.

“I am very pleased that we have made Franchise Grade’s top franchises list,” said Roland Bates, president of National Property Inspections, Inc. “In many ways, they grade franchises tougher than some other organizations, so it really says something great about NPI that we made this list. I think our inclusion on the Top 500, combined with our outstanding franchisee satisfaction will convince prospective franchisees that we really do offer more than our competitors.”

Atlanta Franchise Owner Wins NPI/GPI Franchise of the Year

Franchise of the Year winner Bob McDonough and his team.

Franchise of the Year winner Bob McDonough and his team.

National Property Inspections, Inc., is pleased to announce that NPI franchise owner Bob McDonough of Atlanta is the winner of the NPI/GPI 2015 Franchise of the Year Award.

“Having started my inspection business with NPI in 2008, at the beginning of the real estate disaster, I am extremely proud of the accomplishments of my team and myself,” McDonough said. “It has been a lot of hard, but very enjoyable, work to build this business from the ground up in such a short period of time. I am especially gratified to have such a large group of highly respected Realtors referring my company to their clients. There is no better feeling in business than getting repeat referrals from people I respect. To be awarded Franchise of the Year in front of over 100 of my peers is icing on the cake!”

McDonough operates a multi-inspector company with office staff and also performs inspections himself. In addition to performing home inspections and commercial property inspections, McDonough has differentiated his business by providing mold inspections, radon testing, Phase I Environmental Assessments and winterization services to clients in the Atlanta area.

In addition to overall annual sales, number of inspection performed and percentage of sales growth over the previous year, the NPI/GPI Franchise of the Year award is based on several contributing factors:

  • Overall level of professionalism
  • Continuously striving to improve customer service and benefit customers by seeking additional training and increasing the knowledge base
  • Acting as a role model and mentor to other NPI and GPI franchise owners
  • Demonstrated willingness and desire to give back to the community
  • Positive feedback from customers

“The competition was tough,” said Roland Bates, president of NPI/GPI. “Most of our franchisees had a great year. Bob McDonough has been ambitious since he began his franchise in 2008. He was intent on building a larger business rather than a one-man show. He has worked tremendously hard to expand his territory and build a multi-inspector company, and he and his team have performed thousands of inspections this year. Bob and his inspectors always receive rave reviews from their clients. Bob has truly taken his franchise to a whole new level, and we are so extremely proud to have him as one of our franchise owners.”

Founded in 1987, National Property Inspections, Inc., is one of the oldest and most respected names in the home and commercial inspection business. NPI/GPI Named a Top 100 Franchise for Veterans

Dual LogosNational Property Inspections, Inc., parent company of National Property Inspections in the United States and Global Property Inspections in Canada, is pleased to announce our inclusion in Franchise Business Review’s 2015 Top Franchises for Veterans special report. The report highlights the 100 franchise companies rated highest in franchisee satisfaction by military veterans who were surveyed. Franchise Business Review’s research included survey feedback from more than 3,047 military veterans who are current franchise owners. The national study included more than 285 leading franchise companies, and the resulting list of Top 100 franchises is based exclusively on franchisee satisfaction among veteran franchise owners.

According to the International Franchise Association (IFA), more than 5,600 veterans have become franchise owners since November 2011. In fact, 14 percent of all franchises are owned by military veterans. Not all franchises are a good fit for vets, so it is crucial that they perform their due diligence prior to signing a franchise agreement.

NPI and GPI offer low-cost franchises for less than $37,000, with a 15 percent discount on the initial franchise fee for U.S. and Canadian military veterans.

“Our motto is ‘Integrity, Honesty and Professionalism,” Bill Erickson, executive vice president at National Property Inspections, Inc., told Franchise Business Review. “We actively recruit veterans because they typically have each of these traits. In addition, we appreciate their can-do attitude, self-confidence and willingness to follow direction.”
